Ministry of Labor discusses with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the IOM.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 5 February 2025 (Lana) The meeting held by the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) office was devoted to discussing the challenges facing the implementation of joint projects.
The meeting, chaired by the Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry, discussed ways to enhance cooperation in developing rehabilitation and training programs that contribute to regulating the Libyan labor market.
They also reviewed mechanisms for improving project follow-up and evaluation to ensure the achievement of the desired goals and enhance the positive impact of these programs on the labor market.
The participants stressed the need to enhance cooperation between local and international authorities to achieve the goals of sustainable development and support efforts aimed at improving working conditions and qualifying national cadres to keep pace with the requirements of the modern labor market.
They also stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination between the relevant authorities, launching new initiatives that contribute to raising the efficiency of the Libyan labor market, and enhancing the benefit from partnerships and international cooperation to support economic and social development in Libya.
This meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between government agencies and international organizations, which contributes to achieving the desired economic and social development in Libya.
