Benghazi, February 4, 2025 (LANA) - The Commander-in-Chief of the General Command of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal "Khalifa Haftar" met on Tuesday with an American delegation that included the Deputy Commander of the US Military Command in Africa (AFRICOM), Lieutenant General "John Brennan", and the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, "Jeremy Brent", and the accompanying delegation.

The Media Office of the General Command reported that "Haftar" stressed during the meeting the importance of the US role in resolving the Libyan crisis, while Brennan expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the armed forces in establishing security and stability, combating terrorism and extremism, and their importance in achieving regional stability.
