Defense Ministry: an international conference on air sovereignty.

Tripoli, February 4, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Defense organizes an international conference on air sovereignty during the period from February 24 to 26, 2025 at the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli, under the slogan "For the security and safety of air traffic".

A media source in the General Staff of the Libyan Army, stated that the following topics will be discussed during the conference: air sovereignty, air control from the perspective of national security of countries, the legal basis for confirming air sovereignty, national legislation regulating air navigation.

The conference aims to: Lift the air embargo imposed on the State of Libya and discuss current and future challenges to air sovereignty. Also exchange experiences between countries and relevant institutions and  develop joint strategies to enhance air safety and security.

The conference will be attended by a group of prominent experts and specialists in the field of aviation, in addition to government officials from various countries.
