Tripoli, 4 February 2025 (Lana) The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced that it is in the final stages of screening candidates for membership in the Advisory Committee.
In a statement issued yesterday, the UNSMIL extended its gratitude to all parties, organizations, and civil and social institutions for their engagement at this stage, emphasizing that the committee has a time-bound role to issue recommendations, and the Committee is not mandated to issue decisions or make appointments of any kind.
The mission reminded everyone to rely solely on its official channels for information.
