Tripoli, February 3, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, "Taher Al-Baour", discussed yesterday with the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Republic of Burundi, "Omar Nitezimbere", bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support them in various fields.

During the meeting held in Tripoli, the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, according to what was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on its official Facebook page.

"Al-Baour" stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Republic of Burundi. For his part, Ambassador "Nitezimbere" expressed his aspiration to enhance the partnership between the two countries, appreciating the ministry's support to facilitate his work tasks after submitting his credentials.
