Al-Manfi discusses with the Russian ambassador the latest political, economic and security developments in Libya

Tripoli, February 2, 2025 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Mohammed Al-Manfi", discussed today, Sunday, with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Libya, "Haider Rashid Aganin", the latest political, economic and security developments in Libya, and the recent steps of the United Nations Mission, in addition to enhancing bilateral cooperation and activating the joint committee between the two countries.

According to the media office of the Presidential Council, which reported the news, the Russian ambassador confirmed his country's support for the political settlement process in Libya leading to general elections.
