Italian Rebuild Project team visits the Food and Drug Control Center in Al-Khums.

Zliten, 2 February 2025 (Lana): The Italian Rebuild Project team visited yesterday the Food and Drug Control Center in Al-Khums city, which is the branch responsible for monitoring food and drugs in the surrounding area.

The visit aims to verify the conformity of food products with international specifications and standards and to enhance technical cooperation in this area.

The visit included a tour of Al-Wafa Tuna Factory in Zliten, where the team was briefed on the work mechanisms inside the factory and the production stages, with the aim of learning about how production processes proceed.

These visits come within the framework of efforts to exchange experiences and enhance knowledge in the food control sector and local industries between Libya and Italy.
