Criminal Research and Training organizes a workshop for members of the Public Prosecution in Malta.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, February 01, 2025 (LANA) - The Criminal Research and Training Center at the Attorney General's Office organized a workshop for members of the Public Prosecution in Malta on "Digital Evidence in Combating Terrorism" as part of its training plan for the judicial year 2024-2025.
According to a statement by the Attorney General's Office today, Saturday, 14 members of the Public Prosecution Authority participated in the workshop, as the event was organized within the framework of developing the judicial response in combating cybercrimes, terrorism and organized crimes across national borders.
The participants in the workshop reviewed how to deal with digital evidence, starting from collecting and preserving it, through verifying its authenticity, to ensuring its integrity and admissibility in judicial prosecutions, in addition to exchanging it within the scope of international cooperation in accordance with data protection.
