The Great Man-Made River announces the maintenance of the Abu Zayan-Rahibat pipeline.

Gharyan, January 31, 2025 (LANA) - The Great Man-Made River Project Implementation and Management Authority announced today, Friday, the completion of maintenance work and replacement of the damaged pipe in the Abu Zayan-Rahibat water transmission line, specifically in the Maska area in the city of Al-Asabaa.

The Authority explained in a statement, that the pipe replacement and installation work has been completed, and the backfilling work for the water transmission line will soon begin, against the backdrop of the massive leak in the main water transmission line feeding the mountain cities, from Al-Asabaa to Al-Rajban.

The Authority confirmed that the work will continue until all work is completed, and the water flow returns again to the cities of the western mountain.
