Recovering war remnants in Misurata.

Tripoli, January 31, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced on Thursday evening the recovery of war remnants from a plot of land in the Al-Ghiran area in Misurata city.

The ministry explained, in a post on its official page, that the Security Inspection and Explosives Dismantling Department team affiliated with the Technical Affairs Department of the Criminal Investigation Department - Central Branch recovered two artillery shells of caliber (106 mm), a rocket launcher of caliber (107 mm), and two tank shells of caliber (105/115 mm).

The ministry added in its post that this operation came in response to a report from a citizen, as the ammunition was transferred to the designated storage units, in preparation for its destruction according to the security procedures followed to ensure public safety.
