Al-Abed discusses with his Turkish counterpart enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor mobility

Riyadh, January 30, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, "Ali Al-Abed Al-Redha", discussed with Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Security "Vedat Işık Khan" ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor mobility.

This came during a meeting held on the sidelines of the second edition of the International Labor Market Conference (GLMC 2025) held in Riyadh.

The two sides also discussed the importance of exchanging visits and expertise between the two ministries in preparation for signing a memorandum of understanding regulating the movement of labor between the two countries, with a focus on ensuring workers' rights, especially with regard to social security and insurance, in a way that achieves the interests of both parties.

"Al-Abed" stressed the importance of cooperation with Turkey in the field of developing labor policies and enhancing work environments, noting that the expected memorandum of understanding will contribute to organizing and developing the labor market between the two countries, and enhance opportunities for mutual benefit in various economic sectors.
