Berndt congratulates (Masoud Suleiman) on achieving production of (1.4) million barrels of oil per day

Tunis, January 30, 2025 (LANA) - The Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt, considered that the National Oil Corporation is a key partner, and its independence and integrity are crucial to increasing oil production for the benefit of the Libyan people.

This came during a meeting he held today, Thursday, in Tunis with the acting Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Masoud Suleiman, in which he congratulated him on Libya achieving the production of (1.4) million barrels of oil per day.

According to a tweet by (Berndt) on X, the meeting discussed enhancing cooperation between the United States and Libya in the energy sector to enhance prosperity in both countries.
