Tripoli, January 30, 2025 (LANA) - A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Border Guards in Tripoli yesterday, Wednesday, between the agency and the European Union Mission in Libya (EUBAM), dedicated to discussing cooperation and joint coordination to secure the borders.

The meeting, which was attended by - the head of the agency, Major General Muhammad Al-Marhani, and the head of the EUBAM mission, along with a number of officials from the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs - discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation in the field of border security and management, in addition to discussing technical solutions to renew the Abu Al-Sharaf watchtower and develop the operations room in the Al-Assa border security sector, with the aim of improving monitoring capabilities and enhancing security on the borders.
