Al-Huwaij discusses economic and trade cooperation with Serbia.

Tripoli, January 29, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Economy and Trade "Mohammed Al-Huwaij" discussed with the Secretary of State at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs "Nikola Tujanovic" aspects of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the results of the Libyan-Serbian forum that was held recently, stressing the importance of building on what was achieved during it to enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries.

"Al-Huwaij" stressed the importance of developing trade and investment relations between Libya and Serbia, expressing the ministry's readiness to provide all facilities to Serbian companies and investors wishing to enter the Libyan market.

He also, called for activating the joint committee between the two countries and reviewing the agreements concluded between the two sides and signing new agreements, stressing the importance of encouraging businessmen and companies from both sides to explore available investment opportunities, open new channels for trade exchange and expand opportunities for economic cooperation.
