Al-Zawiya, January 29, 2025 (LANA) - The commander of the Western Coast Military Region, Lieutenant General Salah al-Din al-Namroush, discussed today, Wednesday, with the head of the Zawiya Oil Refining Company Management Committee, Imad bin Koura, the fuel crisis in the western region.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of department managers in the company, the fuel crisis in the western region was discussed, as well as ways to secure the refinery to ensure the continuity of refining and distribution operations on a regular basis, which contributes to the stability of supplies, according to the Western Coast Military Region.
Al-Namroush stressed during the meeting the importance of continuous coordination between the Western Coast Military Region and the Zawiya Company, stressing that securing the refinery is a top priority due to its vital role in supplying the western region with fuel.
The two sides agreed to enhance coordination and cooperation mechanisms to ensure the continuity of work at the refinery and protect its workers, which ensures the provision of fuel to the western region on a regular and stable basis.
