Libyan Ambassador to Egypt meets with Head of the General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs.

Tripoli, January 28, 2025 (LANA) - The person in charge of running the Libyan embassy in Egypt, "Abdul Mutalib Thabet", discussed during his meeting today with the head of the General Authority for Endowments, "Mohamed Al-Abani", aspects of cooperation between the authority and its counterpart institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially in the field of readings, teaching and utilizing Egyptian expertise.

"Thabet" stressed during the meeting held at the headquarters of the Libyan delegation in Cairo his readiness to provide all forms of support to the head of the authority and his accompanying delegation, in addition to facilitating their communication with the relevant institutions in Egypt in a way that contributes to the success of their mission.

For his part, "Al-Abani" praised the effective role played by the Libyan embassy and the permanent delegation in protecting and caring for the interests of Libyan citizens and enhancing the position of the Libyan state in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This meeting reflects the commitment of Libyan institutions to strengthening their relations with their counterparts in sister countries, which contributes to developing religious and educational programs that support the cultural and Islamic identity.
