Qaderbouh and Khoury discuss the annual report of the Administrative Control Authority.
Pulbished on:Tripoli - January 28, 2025 (Lana=) - The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, "Abdullah Qaderbouh", held a meeting today, Tuesday, at the Authority's office with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Political Affairs, "Stephanie Khoury", accompanied by a number of members and employees of the mission, to discuss the Authority's role in enhancing the rationalization of public spending and supporting transparency and financial reforms.
The Administrative Control Authority stated that the meeting discussed the Authority's annual report (53) for the year 2023, its nature and objectives, in addition to reviewing the technical and logistical support opportunities available with international partners. The meeting also included a presentation of the axes of the National Strategic Plan for Performance Oversight, Combating and Preventing Corruption 2025-2030, approved on December 9, 2024, and its implementation mechanisms to include all sectors of the state, with a focus on enhancing the efficiency of oversight agencies and unifying their efforts to enhance good governance and combat corruption at all levels.
The Chairman of the Authority stressed the importance of international cooperation in enhancing transparency and legal accountability, stressing the need to build strong oversight institutions that fulfill the hopes of the Libyan people in transparent management of public resources, explaining the Authority's welcome to international expertise that contributes to enhancing Libya's ability to carry out effective and sustainable reforms.
