Tripoli, 28 January 2025 (Lana) The Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abu Bakr Al-Tawil, discussed during his meeting yesterday with the Deputy Ambassador at the UK Embassy in Libya, Thomas Phipps, working to open a direct flight line between the two countries.

During the meeting, a number of common important issues were discussed, including granting visas and working to facilitate them, especially for students, in addition to discussing ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various areas.

The meeting also reviewed efforts to activate the Joint Committee between the two countries in the near future and other common issues that serve the two parties.
