A delegation from the European Union Border Assistance Mission in Libya Visits Al-Assa Border Security Sector

Tripoli, January 27, 2025 (LANA) - A delegation from the engineering team of the European Union Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM) today paid a field visit to the Al-Assa border security sector.

According to what was published by the Ministry of Interior on its official page, the visit included inspecting the Abu Al-Sharif Tower and the communications and electronic monitoring room, where the delegation was briefed on the maintenance work and logistical equipment being implemented under the supervision of the mission.

These efforts come within the plan to support border management and security, and enhance security readiness for the Libyan borders.
