The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denies rumors about the departure of a number of foreign diplomatic missions from the capital, Tripoli

Tripoli, January 27, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity denied the news that spoke of the departure of crews of a number of foreign diplomatic missions from the capital, Tripoli, towards Tunisian territory via the Ras Ajdir crossing.

The ministry confirmed in a statement today that this news is completely false and that all accredited foreign diplomatic missions in the capital are operating normally without any difficulties.

The ministry also stressed in its statement that all movements of diplomatic missions are carried out in coordination with the General Protocol Department at the ministry in accordance with the established diplomatic procedures.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced its welcome to any communication with the media for any inquiries via the External Media Department.
