The West Coast Military Region announces confronting armed groups that tried to infiltrate Ajilat

Ajilat, January 27, 2025 (LANA) - The West Coast Military Region announced that its forces were able to confront armed criminal groups that were trying to infiltrate the operations area in the city of Ajilat.

The military region affirmed in a statement today, Monday, its commitment to continue to confront with all force and determination the dens of corruption and criminal groups that seek to destabilize the city and keep it in a cycle of chaos.

The West Coast Military Region reassured the residents and people of Ajilat that the situation is currently stable, saying in its statement that the forces are working with all their capabilities to maintain the security, safety and the stability of the city.

The West Coast Military Region had previously announced that its forces entered the city of Ajilat at dawn today to impose security in it, after years in which criminals and crime networks exploited some of its areas as dens for drug and human trafficking, in addition to practicing kidnapping, extortion and murder, according to a statement by the military region.
