Seizure of 17 fuel trucks prepared for smuggling to several African countries.
Pulbished on:Zalla January 27, 2025 (Lana) - The patrols of the Joint Force of the Jufra Organization Committee (Law Enforcement) seized 17 trucks loaded with various types of fuel prepared for smuggling to several African countries.
The committee's sources said that the seized trucks had Libyan plates, were driven by foreigners, and did not carry any legal documents, and legal procedures were taken regarding them, including arresting the driver and returning them with their cargo to Zalla to complete the rest of the necessary legal procedures.
They indicated that the Joint Armed Force and the rest of the competent security agencies organized security patrols in the Haruj area, specifically in Sabah and Al-Naqah fields, and combed the desert paths around this area.
The security campaign carried out by the Jufra Organization Committee, headed by Major General Jamal Al-Amami, continues for the fourth consecutive day inside Zalla and its surroundings, which aims to control violations and encroachments in all their forms, reimpose the law and control the security services, and restore their role in securing and protecting citizens and state institutions.
