High-level Serbian delegation expresses its readiness to participate in and contribute to the implementation of development projects in Libya.

Tripoli, 27 January 2025 (Lana) GNU Minister of Transportation, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, during his meeting with a high-level Serbian delegation headed by the Serbian Ambassador to Libya, reviewed the “ Return to Life" projects launched by the government to develop infrastructure and enhance economic and social development in the country.

The delegation expressed its readiness to participate and contribute to the implementation of these projects through its advanced experience within the framework of activating the role of the Libyan-Serbian Joint Committee to develop the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in different development areas.

This meeting came within the framework of the government’s efforts to strengthen international partnerships and achieve sustainable development goals in the country, according to the government’s official page.

The Serbian delegation included a number of directors of Serbian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and directors of specialized companies. On the Libyan side, the head of the executive team for the President's Initiatives and Strategic Projects and the undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry.
