Dabaiba discusses regional and international issues of common interest with Iraqi President

Davos, January 22, 2025 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, met today, Wednesday, with the Iraqi President, Abdul Latif Rashid, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The Prime Minister's media office stated that the meeting discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
He added that the two sides stressed during the meeting the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Libya and Iraq in various fields, including economy, investment, energy, and cultural exchange, according to the platform.
The necessity of joint coordination to confront regional and international challenges, and to work to enhance stability and development in the region, was also discussed.
The two parties stressed the importance of developing relations between the two countries, in a way that contributes to achieving common interests and enhancing integration between the Libyan and Iraqi peoples.
