Illegal immigrants rescued in al-Hamada Al Hamra.

Al-Qaryat, January 17, 2025 (LANA) - Desert patrols affiliated with the Al-Qaryat Desert Sector of the Border Guard Service were able to rescue illegal immigrants of different African nationalities who were lost in the desert.

The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity stated, that the desert patrols rescued nine immigrants, after they were stranded in Wadi Alas and Fruten in the Hamada Al Hamra area.

The ministry indicated that the necessary health care was provided to these immigrants, and they were transferred to the sector headquarters to be detained until they are referred to the competent authorities.
