Al-Manfi welcomes the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Tripoli, 16 January 2025 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, praising the efforts of the mediating countries guaranteeing the implementation of the agreement.
In a tweet, Al-Manfi expressed his hope to ensure its smooth implementation and the commitment of all parties to it, stating that we had previously welcomed the Palestinian brothers' approval of the content of the deal proposed by the US President since last May, but the delay in accepting it led to an increase in the number of civilian casualties and an increase in destruction.
Al-Manfi stressed full support for a just peace that is accepted by the Palestinian consensus, which reflects our permanent commitment to supporting the rights of the Palestinian people.
