Al-Lafi affirms the commitment of the Government of National Unity to support political paths that meet the aspirations of the Libyans

Tripoli, January 14, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, discussed today, Tuesday, in Tripoli, with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Mahraj, the latest political developments at the local and regional levels.

The two sides discussed, according to "our government" platform, ways to enhance bilateral relations and develop coordination on issues of common interest to serve the interests of the two countries, as the two parties stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation to support efforts to achieve stability in Libya and the region.

Al-Lafi stressed during the meeting the government's commitment to continue cooperation with partners to achieve stability and support political paths that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.

For his part, the ambassador expressed his country's readiness to support efforts of political consensus and enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
