Al-Baour and Thabet discuss the workflow at the Libyan embassy in Cairo.

Tripoli, 14 January 2025 (Lana) Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, received at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, Abdul Muttalib Thabet, Libya's Permanent Representative to the Arab League and Chargé d'Affaires at the Libyan Embassy in Cairo.
During the meeting they reviewed the workflow at the embassy and the delegation, the challenges they face, and ways to address them, in addition to the situation of the Libyan community in Egypt.
Al-Baour stressed the need to develop services provided to the Libyans residing in Egypt and to work to meet their needs in a way that reflects the state's interest in its citizens abroad.
The meeting also discussed the development in the regional situations, as they stressed the importance of strengthening joint Arab work to face the current challenges and achieve security and stability in the region.
