Passports and Nationality Authority discusses with the Pakistani Ambassador the difficulties and obstacles facing the Pakistani community in Libya

Tripoli, January 13, 2025 (LANA) - The meeting held by the Head of the Passports, Nationality and Foreigners Affairs Authority with the Pakistani Ambassador was devoted to discussing the legal status of the Pakistani community in Libya.
The meeting - which was held at the Authority's headquarters in Salah al-Din in the capital, Tripoli - reviewed the difficulties and obstacles facing the Pakistani community and ways to overcome them in a way that ensures the protection of their rights and safety in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
At the end of the meeting, the Pakistani Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Passports Authority for their efforts in following up on the community's situation and resolving the problems they face.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Passport Investigations Department, the Director of the Passport Control Affairs Department at the Ports, and the Head of the Relations Office at the Authority.
The Ministry of Interior had previously stressed the importance of continuous communication with foreign communities to ensure that their issues are addressed and the obstacles they face are overcome.
