Libyan security delegation discusses cooperation in law enforcement and training in Türkiye
Pulbished on:Tripoli, January 13, 2025 (LANA) - The head of the Criminal Investigation Department, Major General "Mahmoud Ashour", discussed during a visit he made to Turkey today with security officials efforts to enhance cooperation in the fields of law enforcement and training.
Major General "Ashour" and his accompanying delegation were received by the Deputy General Forces of the Turkish Gendarmerie, Lieutenant General "Hussein Kurtoglu" and a number of senior Turkish officials.
The Libyan security delegation then headed to the headquarters of the General Command of the Gendarmerie at the Turkish Ministry of Interior, where a meeting was held to discuss ways to enhance security cooperation between the two countries and advanced training programs.
The Libyan delegation also visited the operations room, the monitoring center, and training centers for tracking dogs and horses, the Department of Combating Cybercrime and Cybersecurity, and forensic laboratories, within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation.
