Strengthening cooperation between health and legislative institutions to improve medical services in Libya

Benghazi, January 12, 2025 (LANA) - Member of the Health Committee in the House of Representatives, Ayman Saif Al-Nasr, met with the Director of the National Center for Health System Development, Miftah Talib, within the framework of enhancing cooperation and supporting the activities of the center.
The meeting discussed ways to develop the health system in Libya, and reviewed the efforts made by the center to stimulate the framework of enhancing cooperation and supporting the activities of the National Center for Health System Development, and improving health services, as well as presenting future plans aimed at improving the quality of health care and expanding its scope.
The member of the Health Committee in the House of Representatives expressed his full support for the center's activities, stressing the House of Representatives' readiness to cooperate and contribute to enhancing the efforts made to advance the national health system.
In turn, Talib stressed the importance of partnership with legislative bodies to ensure the achievement of the center's goals, pointing out the need to overcome the challenges facing the health sector.
