The Speaker of the House of Representatives receives today the annual report on the situation of irregular migration in Libya

Tripoli, January 12, 2025 (LANA) - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor "Aguila Saleh" received today the annual report on the situation of irregular migration in Libya from a human rights perspective.

The report was delivered by the Deputy Chairman of the National Council for Public Liberties and Human Rights, "Naima Al-Aribi".

The report addressed the legal situation of irregular migration between the national legal framework criminalizing irregular migration and what the Libyan state has ratified in accordance with the basic human rights agreements to which the Libyan state is a party.
