The Ministry of Interior celebrates the graduation of two batches of officers and non-commissioned officers in the presence of Al-Lafi, Dabaiba and Al-Tarabelsi
Pulbished on:Tripoli, January 8, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity celebrated today, Wednesday, the graduation of the seventh and eighth batches of the ministry's employees and students of the Higher Institute for Officers, in the presence of the Deputy of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, the Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, and the Minister of Interior, Major General Imad Al-Tarabelsi.
Dabaiba stressed in his speech on the occasion the importance of these batches in supporting efforts to enhance security and stability in the country, noting that the graduates represent a qualitative addition to the security institution.
The Prime Minister called on the graduates to adhere to discipline and work hard to protect citizens and establish justice, adding that the graduates represent the unity and diversity of Libya, and carry the responsibility of protecting the homeland and establishing the rule of law.
For his part, the Minister of Interior, Major General Imad Al-Tarabelsi, congratulated the graduates, stressing the importance of their role in enhancing security stability in the country.
Al-Tarabelsi pointed out that the ministry is working to develop the capabilities of its members through advanced training programs, which contributes to raising the level of security efficiency in various parts of Libya, explaining that this year will be the "Year of the Interior" within the framework of the ministry's continuous efforts to improve security performance and enhance stability in the country. The ceremony included more than 600 graduates of non-commissioned officers, who received intensive training that lasted for a full year at the institute's training centers in Tripoli, Gharyan and Zintan.
