British Ambassador stresses vital role of Audit Bureau in enhancing transparency.

Tripoli, January 8, 2025 (LANA) - The British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, stressed the vital role played by the Audit Bureau in enhancing the principles of accounting and accountability and establishing the rules of transparency and integrity through its oversight work.
This came during his meeting with the President of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, today, Wednesday, in Tripoli, where the two sides discussed ways to enhance and support the independence of the Audit Bureau, according to the media office of the Bureau.
At the end of the meeting, Shakshak expressed his appreciation for the positive role played by the United Kingdom in supporting the independence and neutrality of the Audit Bureau.
