House of Representatives approves National Reconciliation Law by majority

Benghazi - January 07, 2025 (LANA) - The House of Representatives approved in its official session today, Tuesday, at its headquarters in the city of Benghazi, headed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives "Aguila Saleh", the National Reconciliation Law by majority.
According to the official spokesman for the House of Representatives "Abdullah Blihaq", the Council also voted by majority to amend Law No. (2) of 2017 in its first article, which stipulated amending the text of Article (25) of Law No. (7) of 2010. Its text is as follows: "The state's right to claim what is due to it under the provisions of this law shall not lapse with the passage of this period, and the provisions of this article shall apply to any statute of limitations that has not been completed."
The session was then suspended.
