SSA deploys intensive desert patrols to secure border areas with Tunisia.

Tripoli, 5 January 2025 (Lana) The Stability Support Agency (SSA) Nalut Office launched intensive desert patrols to secure the areas along the Libyan-Tunisian border in response to the security challenges facing the border area.
The SSA said on its official Facebook page that this step comes within its comprehensive plan aimed at combating smuggling, confronting any illegal activities, and protecting national sovereignty.
It stressed that these patrols work through teams trained to deal with geographical and security challenges in rugged border areas.
According to the agency, this move comes in response to the security challenges facing the border area, especially in light of the growing threats associated with illegal migration and smuggling.
