Dabaiba directs to accelerate the completion of the Abu Zreiq-Kufra road project

Tripoli, January 2, 2025 (LANA)- The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, directed, on Thursday, to accelerate the procedures for the second phase of the Abu Zreiq -Kufra road project, with a length of 90 kilometers, after the completion of the first phase, which amounted to 35 kilometers.

Dabaiba stressed during his meeting with the notables of Kufra and the elders of the city of Kufra, at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, the importance of supporting the city of Kufra and providing its requirements, stressing the government's commitment to completing vital projects that enhance local development and improve the level of services.

The meeting discussed the general conditions in the city and its needs, especially the file of the University of Kufra to support higher education in the region, in addition to developing the infrastructure, in addition to following up on other files on the table, to ensure the implementation of priorities in a way that achieves the aspirations of the city's residents.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Transport and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, and the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi.
