The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity discusses with the Indian Chargé d'Affaires arrangements for resuming the work of the Indian Embassy in Tripoli

Tripoli, January 01, 2024 (LANA) - Director of the Asia and Australia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Nouri Al-Kaseh, discussed today, Wednesday, in Tripoli, with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Libya, Muhammad Aleem, ways to update the agreements signed between the two countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated via its Facebook account that the meeting discussed the necessary arrangements to resume the work of the embassy with its full staff in Tripoli.
The two sides also stressed the importance of the return of Indian companies and workers to contribute to the reconstruction efforts in the country.
