Tripoli, January 1, 2025 (LANA) - The member of the Presidential Council, "Abdullah Al-Lafi", praised the role played by the Zawiya Oil Refining Company and its contribution to the oil sector, especially during this difficult period that the country is going through.

This came in a speech he gave during his participation in the celebration held by the company on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of its establishment, in the presence of a member of the National Oil Corporation Board of Directors, the Chairman and members of the company's Board of Directors, and a large number of department managers, engineers, technicians and employees of the company.

"Al-Lafi" said that the Zawiya Oil Refining Company has achieved great achievements in developing and building this important and sensitive sector during its journey over the past 50 years, thanks to the management of its pioneering and specialized leaders.

The celebration - which was attended by a member of the National Oil Corporation Board of Directors, the Chairman and members of the company's Board of Directors, and a large number of department managers, engineers, technicians and employees - included a documentary presentation on the history of the company and the professional achievements it has achieved throughout its journey.
