Tripoli, December 31, 2024 (LANA) - The United Nations Support Mission in Libya congratulated the Libyan people on the occasion of the New Year, expressing its hope that 2025 will be the year of making up for lost opportunities and the beginning of a new era.

The mission said in its congratulations that it shares the aspirations of the Libyans to reach sustainable solutions under Libyan leadership and ownership, paving the way for free and fair elections, reunifying state institutions, and laying the foundations for a secure and prosperous future for all.
