Al-Dabaiba reviews the executive proposal for his initiative to improve English language teaching in Libya
Pulbished on:Tripoli, December 29, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba", stressed the importance of cooperation between government agencies and the British Embassy to achieve the goals of his initiative launched to improve English language education in Libya.
This came during a meeting held today, Sunday, to review the executive proposal for the initiative in the presence of the executive team for the President's Initiatives and Strategic Projects, along with the British Ambassador to Libya, "Martin Longden", a number of embassy advisors, and the Minister of Education, "Musa Al-Maqrif".
During the meeting, "Al-Dabaiba" called for the necessity of improving the language level of students to qualify them for the requirements of the modern era, according to what was published by the Prime Minister's media office on its official Facebook page.
During the meeting, the initiative was reviewed, which aims to raise the level of English language education among Libyan students in the primary education stage.
The initiative seeks to ensure that students who have obtained a secondary school certificate have obtained an internationally recognized level of English, which enables them to enter the university stage and the labor market with high capabilities, which enhances their readiness to deal with the requirements of higher education and local and international job opportunities.
