Tripoli, December 26, 2024 (LANA) - The General Company for Water and Sanitation announced the continuation of the efforts of its teams to drain the rainwater that fell on several areas on Wednesday night - and Thursday morning.

The company published on its Facebook page pictures and video clips of its teams while pumping water in the cities of Ajdabiya, Ajilat and Zliten.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the National Center for Meteorology warned of moderate to heavy rains, from time to time, in most areas of the north, accompanied by thunderstorms, as this wave continues today as well.

The warning includes the areas extending from Ras Ajdir to Sirte and its surroundings, the interior areas of, Tarhuna, Mislata, Gharyan, some areas of the Nafusa Mountains, Ajdabiya, the Gulf areas, the Benghazi Plain, Al-Marj, Al-Bayda, Shahat, Derna and the Gulf of Bomba.
