Libyan-Algerian customs cooperation in the areas of combating smuggling.

Algiers, 26 December 2024 (Lana) A memorandum of cooperation for customs between Libya and Algeria was signed in the meetings of the Libyan-Algerian Joint Customs Committee.

The memorandum, which was signed by the Director General of the Libyan Customs Authority, Major General Musa Muhammad, and his counterpart, the Director General of Algerian Customs, Major General Abdul Hafeez Bakhoush, included strengthening cooperation in the area of combating smuggling, facilitating customs procedures, and exchanging information and technical expertise in a way that contributes to supporting economic relations between the two brotherly countries. 

The two parties stressed their commitment to implementing the provisions of the memorandum, enhancing joint cooperation, and supporting stability and development to achieve common interests.
