Tripoli, December 25, 2024 (LANA) - President of the People's Republic of China "Xi Jinping" said that he attaches great importance to developing Chinese-Libyan relations, noting the fruitful meeting that brought him together with the Chairman of the Presidential Council "Mohamed Al-Manfi" on the sidelines of the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum last September, where the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two countries was announced, which determines the general direction for the development of bilateral relations.

This came in a congratulatory telegram to Al-Manfi yesterday, Tuesday, on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of Libya's independence, referring to the traditional friendship between China and Libya, their exchange of support and endorsement, and their dealings with sincerity and loyalty over the past 46 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

In his telegram, the Chinese President expressed his readiness to make joint efforts to consolidate mutual political trust between the two countries, and deepen exchange and cooperation in all fields, in a way that supports a sound and stable development of the existing strategic partnership between the two countries.
