America renews its support for Libyan efforts to move forward towards unifying military and security institutions.

Tripoli, December 18, 2024 (LANA) - The United States of America renewed its support for Libyan efforts to move forward towards unifying military and security institutions, overcoming divisions, and protecting Libya’s autonomy.

This came from the Charge d'Affairs of the US Embassy in Libya, "Jeremy Berndt", after his meeting with Lieutenant General "Khaled Haftar" in the city of Benghazi.

"Berndt" said in a tweet published by the US Embassy via its account on the X platform today, Wednesday ((We discussed during the meeting military cooperation between the United States and Libya, including our efforts to enhance the capacity of professional security forces across the country)).
