Minister of Social Affairs meets with Malta's ambassador.

Tripoli, 16 December 2024 (Lana) - GNU Minister of Social Affairs discussed with the Maltese Ambassador to Libya bilateral relations in the humanitarian and social areas and ways to develop them.

During the meeting, which was held yesterday at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, they exchanged views on various issues of common interest, including training and capacity development in the humanitarian area, supporting programs for people with disabilities, and enhancing community awareness and guidance.

The minister stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Maltese side in social issues, noting that expanding the horizons of partnership in social issues is a priority for the ministry due to its positive impact on the target groups.

For his part, the Maltese ambassador expressed his country's readiness to support joint initiatives and exchange experiences in the humanitarian and social areas.
