Paris, 16 December 2024 (Lana) Attorney General Al-Sidiq Al-Sour met last Thursday, in the French capital, Paris, with leaders of the Anti-Terrorism Department, the Anti-Narcotics Office, the Central Office for Combating Illegal Trafficking in Cultural Property, and the Sub-Directorate for Combating Financial Crimes.
The meeting, which was held during Al-Sour’s visit to the headquarters of the General Directorate of the National Police in France, discussed the coordination of the exchange of transnational threat information and the enhancement of technical cooperation aimed at tracking criminal associations involved in money laundering, arms, drug and psychotropic substance trafficking, smuggling stolen Libyan cultural property, organizing illegal migration, and human trafficking.
The meeting also discussed the arrangement of specialized training activities to provide members of the Public Prosecution Authority with skills to confront organized crime groups.
