USAID and the Ministry of Planning sign a new partnership agreement.

Tripoli, 12 December 2024 (Lana) USAID and the Ministry of Planning signed a new partnership agreement in Tripoli yesterday to enhance cooperation in strengthening Libya’s planning and development frameworks.

The U.S. Embassy said in a tweet that the agreement aims to help strengthen national capacities, enhance effective governance, and improve resource allocation in support of the Libyan people.

The embassy stated that this initiative operates within the framework of the Enhanced Partnerships for Institutional Capacity (EPIC) activity of the USAID.

It is noteworthy that USAID has many partnership agreements with governmental and public institutions in Tripoli, in addition to many work programs being implemented with the relevant authorities.
