Al-Manfi said in a tweet he posted on his account on the X platform: (While we confirm that any international efforts that do not include the Libyan institutions emanating from the political agreement empties the results of their legitimacy and the possibility of implementation, we welcome every serious initiative within the framework of the constants specified in the Security Council resolution that enhance transparency and consensus and pave the way for the electoral entitlement in 2025.

He added, (What came in the Security Council resolution, most notably defining the reference of the political agreement and the road map and calling for addressing the unilateral decisions issued and completing the electoral laws (6 + 6) by consensus between the concerned institutions on the few remaining articles or a referendum on them by the people represents the effective framework for the next stage.

It is noteworthy that a meeting was held during the past two days on Libya, hosted by Britain with the attendance of international powers, including the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Italy, Germany, Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, and the Emirates, in addition to representatives of the United Nations and the European Union in the complete absence of the Libyan parties and institutions.
