Ministry of Economy confirms its readiness to provide facilities to Argentine companies wishing to invest in Libya.

Tripoli, December 06, 2024 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Trade for Commercial and Public Affairs, "Suhail Abu Sheha", expressed the desire of the Government of National Unity to develop aspects of trade cooperation with Argentina.

This came during his meeting at the Ministry's headquarters with the Argentine Ambassador to Libya, "Jose Maria Arbia".

"Abu Sheha" stressed the ministry's readiness to provide possible facilities to companies and business owners wishing to enter the Libyan market and implement investment projects in various fields, noting that trade exchange between the two countries is witnessing remarkable growth, especially in agricultural products and livestock.

For his part, the Argentine Ambassador expressed his country's desire to develop trade and investment relations with Libya, and to work on the agreements concluded in various fields, noting that the Argentine Ministry of Economy is looking forward to strengthening economic ties by organizing the Libyan-Argentine Forum for Business, Trade and Investment, in coordination with the Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and the Business Owners Council, in May 2025 in the Argentine capital.
